Delete your account

Arrows · Last updated August 10, 2026
In short: you only have an account if you signed in to use the leaderboard. Deleting it removes your display name, every time you have posted, and the saved copy of your progress, permanently and immediately. The copy of your progress on your phone is not touched, and you can carry on playing.

Do you even have an account?

Most players do not. Arrows is fully playable without signing in, and nothing is sent to a server unless you ask for it. An account exists only if you opened the Leaderboard and signed in with Google. If you never did that, there is nothing to delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything Arrows has ever stored.

Deleting it from inside the app

This is the fastest way and it takes effect straight away:

  1. Open Arrows.
  2. Tap the gear icon on the home screen.
  3. Scroll to Delete account.
  4. Tap it once, then tap again to confirm.
  5. Choose your Google account when asked. This confirms it is really you.

You are signed out as soon as it finishes, and the data listed below is already gone at that point. Nothing is queued and nothing is held for a grace period.

Requesting deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot complete the steps above, email harshsinghhsr23@gmail.com from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject "Arrows account deletion request".

Sending it from that address is what lets me confirm the request is yours. I have no other way to check, and I will not delete an account on the word of a third party. Requests are handled within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. You will get a reply confirming when it is done.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Data What happens
Your display name, and how many times you have changed it Deleted immediately. This is the whole of your profile.
Every time you have posted to a leaderboard, and your levels-solved total Deleted immediately. Your rows disappear from every board.
The saved copy of your progress held in your account Deleted immediately. The copy on your phone is not touched.
Your sign-in itself (the Google account link and its internal ID) Deleted immediately. Signing in again later creates a brand new account.
Puzzle progress on the phone itself: levels, stars, best times, streak, achievements, settings Kept on your phone. Deleting the account removes the saved copy held in the account, not the game you have on the device. Uninstalling the app removes this.
Anonymous analytics and advertising data Not part of the account and not linked to it. It is tied to a random app-installation ID, so there is nothing there to look up by name. See the Privacy Policy for how to have it removed.

Nothing is retained after deletion. There is no archive copy, no backup of your profile kept for later, and no soft-delete: the records are removed rather than flagged. Routine infrastructure backups held by Google Firebase may take a short time to age out, and are never read or restored to bring an account back.

After deleting

You can keep playing exactly as before. The game does not need an account. If you sign in again later, you will be asked to choose a display name again and you will start with no posted times. Your existing progress on that phone stays intact throughout.
